Market Stall Booking Policy

1. Booking Confirmation

1.1 All market stall bookings must be submitted via the official booking form or approved booking method.

 

1.2 A booking is not confirmed until full payment (or agreed deposit) has been received, and written confirmation has been issued.

 

1.3 Stall allocations are made at the discretion of HareDale Services and may vary depending on event layout and operational requirements.

 

2. Payments

2.1 Stall fees must be paid before the market event begins to confirm the booking. 

 

2.2 Failure to make payment by the due date may result in the stall being released and offered to another trader.

 

2.3 All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in this policy.

 

3. Trader Responsibilities

3.1 Traders must provide accurate information about the goods and services they intend to sell.

 

3.2 Traders are responsible for ensuring they hold all relevant licenses, insurance, and certifications required by law.

 

3.3 Public Liability Insurance (minimum cover as specified by HareDale Services) must be provided prior to the event.

 

3.4 Traders must comply with all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and professional stall environment.

 

3.5 Traders are responsible for their own equipment, stock, and personal belongings.

 

4. Set-Up and Breakdown

4.1 Traders must arrive within the allocated set-up time provided prior to the event.

 

4.2 Early breakdown of stalls before the official event closing time is not permitted without prior approval.

 

4.3 Traders must leave their allocated space clean, tidy, and free of waste.

 

5. Cancellations by Traders

5.1 If a trader cancels their booking, stall fees are non-refundable.

 

5.2 If a trader fails to attend without prior notice, no refund will be issued and future bookings may be declined.

 

6. Event Cancellation or Changes by HareDale Services

6.1 HareDale Services reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or amend an event due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to adverse weather, safety concerns, venue restrictions, low attendance, or unforeseen operational issues.

 

6.2 HareDale Services reserves the right to cancel an event within 24 hours of the event taking place if necessary for safety, legal, or operational reasons.

 

6.3 In the event of cancellation by HareDale Services, traders will be offered either:

 

  • A transfer of their booking to a future event date; or

 

  • A refund of the stall fee (excluding any non-recoverable administrative costs, where applicable).

 

6.4 HareDale Services shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by traders, including travel, stock, staffing, or accommodation expenses.

 

7. Conduct

7.1 HareDale Services reserves the right to refuse or remove any trader whose behaviour is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or not in line with event standards.

 

7.2 No offensive, illegal, or counterfeit goods may be sold.

 

7.3 Failure to comply with event rules may result in removal without refund.

 

8. Liability

8.1 HareDale Services accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to trader property.

 

8.2 Traders participate at their own risk and must ensure they have appropriate insurance cover.

Returning Stall Holders Discounts 

HareDale Markets – Returning Stall Holder Discount Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

1.1 The £5 discount (“Credit”) is available solely to returning stall holders of HareDale Markets.
1.2 “Returning stall holders” are defined as individuals or entities that have previously booked and attended at least one HareDale Market.

2. Credit Value and Application

2.1 Each eligible stall holder shall accrue £5 Credit per market attended.
2.2 Credit may be applied in one of the following manners:
    2.2.1 Immediate Application: £5 deducted from the weekly stall fee for the nominated market date.
    2.2.2 Accumulation: Credits may be accumulated until the total equals a full stall fee, at which point the accumulated Credit may be redeemed for a single free stall booking.

3. Redemption Procedure

3.1 To redeem Credit, stall holders must email Dale.Porter@HareDale.co.uk and specify the market date on which the Credit will be applied.
3.2 Credit may only be applied once full payment for the market stall has been received.
3.3 Failure to remit payment after selecting a market date shall result in forfeiture of the Credit for that date.

4. Restrictions

4.1 Credit is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or any other monetary form.
4.2 Credit cannot be applied retrospectively to any previously booked market.
4.3 Once a free stall has been redeemed using accumulated Credit, it shall be valid for a single market only.

5. Amendments and Termination

5.1 HareDale Markets reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend or terminate the Credit scheme at any time with reasonable notice.
5.2 Participation in this scheme constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

6. Governing Law

6.1 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
